time for tea ceramics
timefortea ceramics is London based ceramicist - Katarina Dentschuk. I make unique and handcrafted functional ceramics. It was a meandering journey to discover ceramics, when I first when to art school, I was interested in texture and the experience of using things, which, fast forward 10 years quickly translated into a love for making ceramics when I joined a shared ceramics studio. It was a way to slow down and refocus. So when making my ceramics I celebrate the appreciation of slowing down in a busy world and connecting with the materials. This results in quiet, calm and simple forms with muted colours. Using my tableware I hope that it will help us to slow down and take some time to appreciate the moment.
